Does your mind often wander down the road of “what if?” What if there was an app for this, a service for that. It’s an inescapable condition, this human tendency to wonder. We find ourselves making mental improvements to everyday items and circumstances all of the time.

Last Winter when tasked by our CEO, Krish Ramakrishnan, to ask ourselves, “what if there was a way to bring our customer’s ideas to life,” we immediately assembled a brainstorming team. Five months later, we have a growing online community all because we followed our curiosities. The Blue Jeans Community is a hub of industry innovation; a think tank for power users, experts, and newcomers alike to discuss the product, help each other and ensure video collaboration progresses to enhance B2B interactions.

Less than a month ago, Blue Jeans Community Champion, Ash Azzopardi of Red Hat, posted about the need for delegation rights and multiple moderators to have access to the mute all function in large meetings. Shortly thereafter, Philip, a Customer Success Engineer at Blue Jeans Network, responded, letting Ash know his idea was taken to a weekly PM meeting and submitted as a new feature request. It’s now listed as “under consideration” on the Community’s idea page, along with 78% of all product/ feature ideas that have been brought to the Community since its launch.
