Sales Development Representative

Blue Jeans Network is adding several Sales Development Reps to our team in Mountain View, California. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for generating leads and contributing to overall advancement of corporate sales goals. With success in the SDR role, you will be moved to be a Sales Account Manager, The right candidate will be an energetic person with passion and innate drive to excel at any task. As is typical with start-ups, this role goes beyond a traditional function – the person must have ability to act independently in an unstructured environment, operate proactively and have a passion/appreciation for the vision and mission of the company. The role includes the following:

Role & Responsibilities

  1. Lead generation through target account selling, outbound cold calling, and calling on marketing-generated and inbound leads
  2. Meet monthly and quarterly lead objectives
  3. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Blue Jeans’ product line and value proposition
  4. Demonstrate clear understanding of Blue Jeans’ sales processes
  5. Provide weekly accurate QSO (qualified sales opportunities) forecasts to the sales organization and executive management

  1. Highly Motivated; Can work in a rapidly growing company and industry
  2. Listens to customers; Tailors messages to customers based on their needs
  3. Aggressively hunts for new sales opportunities and follows up professionally on leads.
  4. Ability to communicate value of Blue Jeans’ service in a clear and succinct manner
  5. Strong self-starter who is a team player and can work independently
  6. Passion to be on a team with the vision to radically change the way we communicate and connect
  7. BS or BA in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience
  8. 1 year of SaaS or enterprise software SDR experience highly preferred
