Product Marketing Manager
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the technical outbound marketing activities for Blue Jeans Network. You will craft the messaging and positioning for products. You’ll conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits are crucial.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market analysis including prioritizing potential markets, segments and customers and defining product requirements.
- Develop positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategy for product releases and new product innovations to ensure maximum market awareness and acceptance
- Use web 2.0 marketing techniques, including viral marketing, to help drive awareness and customer adoption
- Develop product content and collateral including competitive positioning, marketing campaigns, presentations, product announcements, sales training materials, website updates, etc.
- Work cross functionally to define and incorporate key product features and benefits within sales and marketing materials
- Engage with customers to provide technical sales support
Qualifications
- 5+ years of product marketing experience
- Video/video conferencing and/or SaaS experience highly preferred
- Motivated self-starter
- Very strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and financial skills
- Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties
- An educational background that includes quality institutions. Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a technology related field. An MBA is a plus
