• Manual Dial - BlueJeans Relay now supports new macro format which supports manual dial of Bluejeans/Microsoft meetings
• BlueJeans Chat hide/show - BlueJeans Relay now supports Cisco Macro to support the hide/show of the Chat Panel for BlueJeans meetings in SIP/H.323 mode .

Support for Webex Teams Invites:
BlueJeans Relay now supports, parsing of Teams invite for WebEx CVI and display of OneTouchJoin, thus enabling Bluejeans Relay users join WEBEX TEAMS meeting using one touch

Support for Guest Join for Teams Invites:
BlueJeans Relay now supports, parsing of Teams invite for Teams Guest Join support, this support will enable BlueJeans Native Rooms users (Poly/Yealink) to join Teams Meeting using one touch join.

Other fixes

• Fixed authentication code not being sent automatically from Relay Admin UI during Windows Listener Service installation, forcing a clipboard fallback.
• Fixed issue when detecting system HTTP proxy during Listener Service installation on Windows.
• When deleting a Dial Style, any Endpoint which was using it will have its Dial Styles reverted to the default Annex O Dial Style.

Web Embed SDK

Passing External Identifier with participant info when joining meeting

Upon joining the BlueJeans meeting via the Web Embed SDK, the participants who join the meeting are considered guest users, as they are not required to have a BlueJeans account or be logged in. This means integrators can only have their name to identify them in BlueJeans systems, which may not be unique enough to identify individuals who want to associate specific meeting participants with users in their own systems.

To address this issue, the Web Embed SDK introduces the "external ID" feature. This feature allows developers to pass a unique ID (aka. external ID) of up to 1024 characters associated with each user in their systems while joining the BlueJeans meeting via Web Embed SDK. This external ID can be accessed through the use of Command Center APIs. Refer to the following technical article for more details.

Split Screen Share Options

BlueJeans Rooms now supports additional layout features for single screen meeting rooms. Single screen meeting rooms can now display the meeting attendees and shared screen content side-by-side. Rooms MultiService 2.0: Teams Direct Guest Join (GA)

Office365 Calendaring and Access Support

• Relay Users will now be able to set Endpoint Calendar Type to Office365 access by default from the Relay admin section thus ensuring easy Office365 access enablement. Additionally, users will now have to provide consent when they try to revoke Office365 access

Enhanced Security Updates

• Relay WebServer will now support Content-security-policy header in their HTTP responses, thus providing an additional security layer against certain types of attacks, including Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) and data injection attacks.

Participant List Display support in Teams Gateway

Customers joining Teams meetings from their BlueJeans Gateway for Teams enabled VTCs can now have view the the list meeting attendees with on a separate pane with Show Participant List Display feature

With this feature support, customers can choose to enable/disable the display of the Participant list in a separate display panel as well as move across the participant list using DTMF options. More details can be found here

Teams Profile Picture Support

Customers using Gateway-enabled VTCs can see participant profile pictures for video-muted or audio-only participants in a Teams meeting for an engaging meeting experience.  

If the Teams client settings do not include a participant's profile picture and if the feature is disabled on CVI tenants, a static image will be displayed for the participant.

Existing customers must complete the Consent Form as an Admin for your Office 365 Tenant to enable this feature. Please reach out to the BlueJeans Support team for additional details.

Screen Share only mode

The screen share-only mode permits a participant to join in a meeting without having a need to have a video or audio connection. It is helpful in the cases where you need a participant to join a meeting to either share the screen or receive a screen share. This mode is not a default mode. More details here.

Introducing “Custom Video Source”, this feature allows developers to integrate a variety of video frames, including pre-recorded clips, 3D renders, or a blend of both, as a video input, offering endless possibilities for video customization. For example, the Custom Video Source feature provides the capability to alter the plain/vanilla (default/raw) video stream from the device's front or rear camera to include any effects on top of the video stream and send it back to the BlueJeans platform. The effects may include visual enhancements, such as placing stickers on top of someone's face, introducing AR objects into the video frame, or displaying images or GIFs of products during a live video call. Using the BlueJeans Custom Video Source feature, a retail store can enhance its virtual customer experience by showcasing its latest Android mobiles as Augmented Reality (AR) objects in a live video call. Instead of the default camera feed, a sales representative can replace it with a customized video feed that allows for the use of virtual objects. This feature enables participants to engage in an immersive and interactive meeting experience, where they can manipulate virtual objects and interact with the sales representative to learn about the features of the Android mobiles. Poly Tabletop Microphones (Studio X50 and X70 version) support only the extended microphone. The Poly Ceiling Microphone extends the use of three supported microphones.

Custom layouts and individual stream control support

BlueJeans added support for custom video layouts; developers can control the resolution property of video participants via VideoStreamService. Developers can build custom video layouts as needed with the Web Client SDK.

In the custom layouts, you may:

• control the individual video streams and build customized layouts
• choose the resolution for a participant
• prioritize the active speaker
• show up to 25 video tiles
• build support for pinning video tiles of particular participants in the meeting.

New features

Updated support for trusted room settings

Endpoints designated as trusted rooms may bypass the lobby when joining a meeting. To use this feature, the meeting organizer should allow everyone, people in my organization, trusted organizations, or guests to bypass the lobby.

Large Gallery view advanced support

Users may now initiate the Large Gallery view feature in Gateway-enabled endpoints. Users can switch to BlueJeans-enabled layouts by pressing *9 on the remote (DTMF tones).

Content share restriction notifications

A Teams client can only share its screen or a window with a VTC system; sharing content from Excel Live, PowerPoint Live, OneDrive, and the whiteboard is not supported.

If a meeting user attempts to use an unsupported application to share content, Gateway-enabled VTCs will display a notification banner on the screen advising the participant to share the entire screen.

Fit-to-Frame support

All Gateway-enabled endpoints now support the fit-to-frame option by default, so meeting users can have a full view of attendees in a meeting room rather than a cropped frame image.
